Studying the Bodies God Gave to Us

Mrs. Claxton's 1th-grade Anatomy and Physiology class toured James Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. Sam James, the owner of the funeral home, explained the steps involved in burying or cremating the remains of a person. The class investigated the crematorium and embalming room. They learned how both processes involve a working knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Throughout the tour, Mr. James reminded us that even when dealing with death, he is able to point others to the hope and joy of the resurrection because Christ conquered death.
